Linda is nationally accredited in elections administration (CERA), the highest professional certification in the field, and serves in statewide leadership roles helping shape election policy and systems across Washington.

Linda brings more than two decades of public service and executive leadership experience to the role.
Before serving as Auditor, she was elected to the Lakewood City Council and Pierce County Charter Review Commission. She also held senior leadership positions in the private sector and in city and state government, including serving as Chief Communications Officer for the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services.
Linda began her career as a newspaper reporter and editor, an experience that shaped her belief in clear communication, accountability, and the importance of public trust. Those values continue to guide her work today.
